Cowbridge and District Local History Society

Cowbridge and District Local History Society meets on the first Friday of the month, September to April, at 8pm in the Lesser Hall, Cowbridge. Membership, at £4 per year, covers attendance at all meetings plus three newsletters a year.

Out-of-district members may obtain the newsletters by post for £1.50

    I have asked Vale Council what has happened to the iron posts which were by side of “the market place” (Masons Arms). As you will know these posts have an historical connection(erected by Lewis Jenkins of Masons Arms to mark his land before 1894). They have “disappeared” during construction of new pavement.
