Cowbridge Fashion Week is one of the most anticipated events on the fashion calendar here at WM. It’s an absolute must for all stylish women in Wales and this year we are official event sponsors. And we wouldn’t put our name to any event – unless it guaranteed you an exciting and fresh mix of cutting edge fashion and dynamic shows. Running from Thursday, October 8 to Saturday,October 10, it’s an opportunity to celebrate all that the fabulous boutiques in the stylish Vale market town have to offer.
All money raised is going to Ty Hafan children’s hospice and the events kick off on the Thursday with late night openings and a stack of discountsat your favourite Cowbridge boutiques, like Jon Ian and Havana, many of which will be themed for the week. Others taking part include Woodcocks, Becki’s, Ushi’s, Amici, Blushbaby, En Vouge and Italus, Pebble, Sanders Shoes, Scallywags, Square Spots and Terminal 9. The Friday is all about ladies who lunch with a celebratory meal at the
Bear Hotel, which is also the place to be on the Saturday night for the Grand Finale black tie dinner and fashionshow.
Celebrity models, like Glamorgan cricketers and rugby union players, will give you a sneaky peek at Cowbridge’s latest fashion collections. And there will be an auction and raffle with Ty Hafan the sole beneficiary. WM’s advertising director Denise Rich says backing Cowbridge Fashion Week was a no-brainer.
“I was thrilled to be able to lend support to Cowbridge Fashion Week and in particular to the many fashion outlets in the town that have been such staunch supporters of WM over the past decade,”
“And it is important that we not only celebrate the diverse range of fashion outlets in Cowbridge but also link this event to such a marvellous local charity that we all care passionately about”
