The host for today is the former owner of The Gallery and food raconteur, Sue Tasher. Sue will compere events and draw extra snippets of information from our guest chefs.

10:30 Doug Windsor, ‘Watch It…Do It’

Former owner/chef of Frolics and 2003 Young Welsh Chef Winner, Doug has recently moved to Switzerland but returns to Cowbridge to show off his new venture of books and DVDs. ‘Watch It … Do It’ aims to make cooking great food simplicity itself.

Representing Meat Promotions Wales, Elwen will be endorsing its key message – red meat as a part of

12:00 Massimo Bishop-Scotti – Zucchero Contemporary Pâtisserie

Born in Capri, Massimo trained in advanced pâtisserie and confectionery in London and went on to work in some of the UK’s best eateries including The Aubergine for Gordon Ramsay. He has worked with M&S to develop dessert recipes and now has his own thriving pâtisserie business here in the Vale. www.zucchero.uk.com

13:30 Jamie Baulch vs Doug Windsor – The C Word

The Cowbridge Culinary Challenge this year welcomes local athletics hero Jamie to attempt to knock Doug from his podium. See them create their own version of a classic for a live blind tasting to decide the gold medallist.

15:00 David Lawal – Living Café

This year it will no longer be part of the Cowbridge Charter Trust as it has been restructured under a new company, Cowbridge Food and Drink Trust and Cowbridge Food Festival Ltd, a non-profit company.The new board of trustees welcomed anyone who wishes to become a subscriber to the new trust at the nominal cost of £1 per annum. All those interested should contact the chairman at Cowbridge Food and Drink Trust, PO Box 63, Cowbridge, CF71 9AS.

Volunteers who would be prepared to help with the event, especially assisting with the setting and clearing up for a few hours prior and post event, should contact Mt Davies on 01446 773171 .
